In March 2012, Greenbrook, together with Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH), launched a new 24/7 Urgent Care Centre pilot co-located with A&E at the West Middlesex University Hospital. This service has developed well and is now one of the most successful UCCs in London, seeing and discharging~ 60% of patients attending the combined UCC and A&E.

Greenbrook is also a central part of the Hounslow Integrated Community Response Service (ICRS). Again delivered in partnership with HRCH, Greenbrook doctors lead the medical input into this service aimed at ensuring patients are not admitted to hospital, or are discharged from hospital without delay, by ensuring plans are made regarding their medical, social and/or physical needs at home.

In Surrey Greenbrook Healthcare is working in partnership with CSH Surrey to deliver three nurse-led walk-in centres at Ashford, Weybridge and Woking on behalf of North West Surrey CCG. The services are open 8am to 8pm 365 days a year.

Kensington & Chelsea

In December 2011, Greenbrook opened an innovative NHS GP practice as an integral part of the Earl’s Court Health & Wellbeing Centre. The centre offers an integrated set of health and wellbeing services caring for patients in a holistic manner. The project is delivered in collaboration with Turning Point, the leading social care charity and NHS Dentist a large local NHS dental practice. For more information please see www.echwc.nhs.uk

Greenbrook is working in partnership with London North West Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) to deliver the Urgent Care Centre at Northwick Park Hospital. Since April 2017 the contract for this service has been renewed under a new innovative specification developed with Harrow CCG.

Greenbrook is also working with LNWH to deliver an Urgent Care Centre at the Hillingdon Hospital. Greenbrook is leading the management and medical aspects of the Urgent Care Centre.

Since April 2016 Greenbrook Healthcare is delivering the Urgent Care Centre at Ealing Hospital, in collaboration with LNWH.

Bromley and Beckenham

Greenbrook began running the Urgent Care Centre in Princess Royal University Hospital in Dec 2013. This service is co-located with A&E.

Since December 2014, Greenbrook is also running the Beckenham Beacon Urgent Care Centre. This service is 8am-8pm and is not co-located with an A&E.

Since 2015 Greenbrook Healthcare is running the GP Out of Hours service for Greenwich as well as the Urgent Care Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich. This service is co-located with A&E.

GP Commissioning

Greenbrook Healthcare’s primary aim is as a provider organisation – delivering services for the NHS – rather than as a commissioning organisation. Whilst Greenbrook as a provider of registered list GP services has representation on local Clinical Commissioning Groups for all our GP Practices, we are careful to manage any potential conflicts of interest accordingly. As such, we do not seek board representation on Clinical Commissioning Groups.
