Urgent Care Service Director - North West London or South East London - fantastic development opportunity for an experienced Service Manager.

  • Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

  • Six month fixed term contract

  • £65,000 to £76,500 Per Annum (dependant on experience) + Generous Flexible Benefits

Greenbrook Healthcare, a subsidiary of Totally plc are currently looking to appoint two Service Directors to cover multiple North West London services and South East London Services respectively on a 6 month fixed term contract basis working 37.5 hours per week.

Greenbrook Healthcare is the leading provider of Urgent Treatment Centres.  We have developed an extremely successful and unique Urgent Care model in both co-located and standalone UTCs.  Our hands-on approach and constant desire to always seek improvements to ensure our patients receive first class care are the reason for our success in recent years and future ambitions.    

We are now looking to make two new senior appointments for a fixed term of six months. You will be responsible for overseeing the service management teams in our North-West London or South East London services.

In this pivotal role you’ll oversee the day to day operational management of these busy services.  Whilst partnering with external stakeholders, including commissioners and acute colleagues to ensure that not only UTC targets are met but that each service is delivering clinical excellence and high patient satisfaction. 


This is a hybrid role in which you will be the Service Director for three services within a respective region. Furthermore, you will be acting as Service Manager for one of the three services you are responsible for as Service Director.


You’ll be supported in your role by excellent and highly competent local management teams, in addition to a dedicated clinical team and the support of the Operations Director and Executive Team.


This is a fantastic development opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to step up and develop their skills.

We are looking for exceptional managers with the ability and desire to help the organisation to continue its successful development. With a generous remuneration offered, you are likely to have the following attributes:

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification/equivalent level of experience.

  • Senior NHS operational management experience

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • HR & financial management knowledge

  • Data analysis and report writing at short notice

  • Prior experience in Urgent or Emergency departments, whilst desirable is not necessary, but more so proven experience with NHS operational management and a desire to progress in your own career whilst demonstrating an aptitude to deliver excellent patient care.
